Kim Van Vu is an Art Director and Design Lead specializing in art direction, brand experiences, and creative strategy.

She’s passionate about community-driven work that helps people thrive.

From building sets for experiential marketing events to designing and art directing campaigns, Kim is experienced in a wide array of projects and roles. Her multidisciplinary design sensibilities and skills enable her to work seamlessly across multiple dimensions, mediums, and platforms.

Kim is currently a brand design lead at Grammarly, adapting to where she’s needed—jumping in as a contributor or design lead and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure that the visual expression is true to the brand. Her responsibilities include art directing projects and designing brand experiences for digital and print campaigns on products, social, events, and blogs, and overseeing environmental builds and print production.

When she’s not designing, you can find Kim at the local pug meet-up, hiking her favorite trails, teaching lettering workshops, or giving spirit animal readings.
